Biography

Thomas J. Slovenski is the owner of Cellular Forensics, LLC:   South Carolina's first private forensics technology firm specializing in cell phone data recovery and mobile spyware detection. 

As a former law enforcement detective and private investigator, Tom has over 25 years of investigative experience.  Tom was a Sergeant with a large metropolitan Sheriff's Office while serving as the Senior Investigator of Internal Affairs and directing investigations in five (5) separate county divisions.  Tom also holds a BA degree from Bob Jones University.

As a Certified Mobile Forensic Data Recovery Specialist and CDR (cell tower) Analyst, Tom enthusiastically endeavors to assist, train and inform legal professionals in the importance and value of mobile forensics pertaining to court cases.  Tom is also highly regarded in the area of Mobile Phone Spyware and its detection.  His articles on “Cellular Forensics for Private Investigators” have been published internationally.  In addition, Tom is a noted speaker, trainer and consultant in the field of Cellular Forensics™ throughout the nation and has appeared on the NBC and FOX NEWS stations and on Canadian radio.  Mr. Slovenski has also been honored as a featured guest lecturer at Purdue University’s annual Mobile Forensics World Conference in Chicago for the past three consecutive years.

Tom’s memberships include the Mobile Security Specialists Network (Founder), the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), InfraGard, the South Carolina Electronic Crime Task Force and the Association of Christian Private Investigators.  Mr. Slovenski is also an Advisory Board member of Fast Forensics, Inc., a new and progressive forensics company specializing in data acquisition devices for military and law enforcement.  In addition, Tom is also on the training staff of Smart Phone Forensics, Inc.
